Ken studied architecture at North East London Polytechnic. His career started at Stillman & Eastwick-Field before he joined Michael Aukett in 1977. He became a director of Aukett Associates in 1987.

Ken is co-founder of Michael Aukett Architects with Michael Aukett in 1995. He is responsible for major projects and has delivered many high profile schemes for Tesco, Abbeydale Road Sheffield, Orpington and Cheetham Hill Environmental Store.

Ken and Michael have been rewarded by the receipt of numerous design awards and commendations which include the Financial Times Award, Structural Steel Design Awards, Civic Trust and RIBA National and Regional Awards.
