Chris studied architecture at the Bartlett University College London, during which time he won second prize for the Lewis Design Competition.
Chris started his career at Circus Architects and although he worked predominantly on mixed-use housing schemes he also gained specialist knowledge on temporary and mobile structures, assisting them to win the Highlands and Islands Mobile Cinema, awarded 'Millennium Product' status in 2000. He also enjoyed success with them in the Circle 33 Bow housing trust competition.
Since joining Michael Aukett Architects in 2003, Chris has worked on a number of our office's key mixed-use schemes such as Hounslow Key Site One, Dartford, Canada Water, Streatham Hub and Southend. He has also developed a number of the leisure projects and now leads a team with experience in designing competition pools, health and fitness centres and ice arenas.
